For the third consecutive year, we’ve been listed by the Financial Times as one of Africa’s fastest-growing companies.
As has been done every year so far, the list was compiled in collaboration with Statista through a rigorous screening process. Companies were ranked based on 2020-2023 data for their (i) absolute revenue growth rate and (ii) compound annual growth rate (CAGR).
This is an important milestone for us, but it represents something even more transformative for businesses in Nigeria—that they’ve had an ecosystem of reliable financial products to grow and scale fast. As a business banking leader and payment provider, our growth is tied directly to the growth of the people and businesses we support.
In the past year, we’ve hit several key milestones as a team. We now process over 1 billion transactions monthly for ten million businesses and individuals across Nigeria.
We also recently raised funds to scale these efforts, with the closeout of our US$110 million Series C fundraise in October and subsequent investment from global digital payments leader Visa. We’ve used this to expand our services to Africans in the diaspora who need to support their family, friends, and businesses back home.
